Welcome to Le CafÉ Anglais

A new landmark restaurant, Le Café Anglais has opened next to Whiteley’s in west London. Chef-proprietor Rowley Leigh and his partners have created a large, bustling brasserie with menus that he describes as “both proudly English and yet utterly unashamed of our debt to France”. The Observer Magazine called the menu “…a thing of beauty.” Magnificent floor-to-ceiling windows offer views across the rooftops along Queensway to Kensington Gardens, making Le Café Anglais an ideal venue for weekday lunches, weekend family brunches, early evening suppers or post-theatre or cinema dinners. As Charles Campion wrote in the Evening Standard: “This venture is a master class in how to deliver the kind of restaurant that the public wants.”

...the menu at the newly opened Le Café Anglais is a blinder - a virtual roll call of seasonal produce intelligently worked in familiar Elizabeth Davidian ways.
